‘The Graphies’ Awards Recognizes Innovative Graph Database Applications
Neo Technology, creators of Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database, today announced ‘The Graphies’ award program in conjunction with its upcoming GraphConnect 2012 conference, taking place in San Francisco on November 5 – 6, 2012.
The Graphies is the first award of its kind, set to pioneer the recognition and celebration of individuals and teams around the globe who are developing innovative graph database applications. Inaugural award winners will be announced at Neo Technology’s GraphConnect 2012 conference.
“In launching The Graphies, Neo recognizes that graphs are everywhere and that innovative solutions are being developed across the globe to both leverage and solve challenges related to connected data. We are seeing outstanding work being done by Neo4j community members and others. The Graphies provide a new opportunity to explore these projects and encourage the development of future applications,” said Emil Eifrem, CEO of Neo Technology.
Neo welcomes all submissions from across the globe, offering English support for non-Native speakers. All submissions become shared copyright with Neo Technology and may be featured on a website. Applications are currently open with submissions due by October 7, 2012.

- Most Innovative Graph Application
- Most Innovative Mobile Graph Application
- Most Innovative Enterprise Graph Application
- Most Innovative Social Graph Application
- Most Innovative Educational Graph Application
- Most Innovative Graph Visualization Application
To apply, applicants must submit an online form with questions on project challenges, the solution process, implementation and results. Visuals, artwork, and web links related to the project may be offered as well.
